Question 1

How do I add players to my roster?

Accepted Answer

Open the app and tap the Roster tab. Tap the "Player Name" to add a new player. Enter their name and skill level —depending on your league or game. Repeat for each player on your team. Your roster is saved automatically and ready to use for lineup calculations.

Question 2

How do I save or switch between rosters?

Accepted Answer

Matchup Master lets you save multiple rosters — useful if you captain more than one team or play on different nights. From the Roster screen, tap the "Calculate Our Lineup" and see the available lineups. Press the "Save" button next to the desired lineup you wish to save. All rosters are stored locally on your device, no online access is needed.

Question 3

Does the app work offline?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Matchup Master works completely offline. All roster data, skill levels, and lineup calculations happen on your device with no internet connection required. This means it works reliably at pool halls, bars, and anywhere else you play, regardless of Wi-Fi or cell signal.

Question 4

What Android version is required?

Accepted Answer

Matchup Master requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. The app is available as a free download on the Google Play Store and is compatible with the vast majority of Android phones and tablets running a supported version.

Question 5

Is Matchup Master free?

Accepted Answer

Matchup Master has a 1 time fee to download and use. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no paywalled features. Everything the app offers — roster management, skill cap optimization, and head-to-head analysis — is available from the moment you install it.

Question 6

Question 7

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Accepted Answer
